Unlike the majority of Indiana, Evansville is in the Central Time Zone. The Evansville area observes Central Standard Time from the last Sunday in October through the first Sunday in April, and Central Daylight Time the remainder of the year. This means we "fall back" an hour each fall and "spring forward" an hour each spring.

Evansville has a moderate climate and four distinct seasons. Average temperatures range from 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 78 degrees Fahrenheit. Children's Museum of Evansville - cMoe

The Koch Family Children's Museum of Evansville is open and waiting to become the new favorite place for children of all ages from the Evansville and tri-state region! cMoe's is a museum experience that will engage your child to learn while having interactive fun!  cMoe is open 6 days a week, closed on Mondays. Evansville Philharmonic

 
The "City of Evansville" floating entertainment center complex arrived here in 1995 at a cost of $110 million dollars. She is a replica of the historic "Robert E Lee" racing sidewheel steamboat crafted nearly 130 years ago.  It is 310 feet long and 70 feet wide, and will accomodate 2,700 passengers and a crew of 300.
